The Golden Thread in therapy refers to ‘threading’ of elements of the therapeutic treatment resulting in the therapist and client traveling on a path towards healing. Does the presenting issue relate to the assessment performed? Do the issues outlined in the assessment show up in the treatment plan? Are the treatment notes reflecting what was referenced on the treatment plan? If the answer to each of these questions is yes, the golden thread has been achieved. This course supports best practices for achieving the Golden Thread in the practitioner’s day to day practice with clients.
