Offshore Wind Tech Info Session

Vineyard Haven Public Library 200 Main Street, Vineyard Haven

Join ACE MV for this brief information session on our Offshore Wind Technician certification program, in partnership with Bristol Community College. Participants will learn about how to train for a career in the field of renewable energy, earning a certificate, the enrollment process for the upcoming fall semester and the exciting scholarship opportunities available for women.

MVRHS Culinary Arts Dining Room 100 Edgartown – Vineyard Haven Rd., Room 212, Oak Bluffs

Join ACE MV to learn about how to train to become an offshore wind turbine technician right here on the Vineyard.  Speakers from Vineyard Power, Mass Maritime Academy, ACE MV, Bristol Community College, and current turbine technician students will inform on the enrollment process, becoming certified, working in the offshore wind industry, and more. All are welcome.  Please RSVP. Refreshments will be served.

Offshore Wind Information Session at West Tisbury Public Library

West Tisbury Public Library 1042 State Road, West Tisbury, MA

Stop by the West Tisbury Public Library on Tuesday, May 24th, between 4:30pm-5:30pm to learn about offshore wind workforce training opportunities available to Island residents. Enrollment in the fall semester starts soon, scholarships are available for women and members of underrepresented communities. Kindly RSVP if you plan to drop by!

Offshore Wind Student Open House

MVRHS Library 100 Edgartown Rd, Oak Bluffs, MA

This open house will introduce high school students to the developing field offshore wind on Martha's Vineyard, career pathways within the industry, and how to prepare for those careers with technical training and education. Students will hear from renewable energy insiders, education providers, and offshore engineers, followed by a Q&A session to answer any questions students may have. Interested students should select the ACE MV Offshore Wind Open House option for their flex period on June 8th.
